Our brilliant Experience Team Lead, Joni Ruokamo, started working at Tosi in January 2022 and is located in Finland.
How would you describe your job to a 7-year-old?
My job is to make sure that people using our products can do it easily with a smile on their face.
What is the most memorable moment for you working at Tosi so far?
The most memorable moment for me at Tosi has to be when we launched the new TosiControl, the next generation user experience for the Tosi Platform, that I had been working with for the past, almost two years.
What is important to you as a colleague?
To me, it is important that the people working with me and around me can feel appreciated and empowered. I have had the privilege to work with amazing colleagues here at Tosi. As a team lead, it is always the best part of my day when I can catch up with the team and hear about how they are doing. I truly believe that it is important to cultivate relationships with your coworkers since a caring atmosphere will improve your input and make the work a much more enjoyable experience.
What is the best part about your job/working at Tosi?
I would say the best part about working at Tosi is the trust the employer has for the employee.
Could you tell us one thing that only a few people know about you?
I used to own a Christian bookstore in the center of Oulu.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Be merciful also towards yourself, not only to others.
