Gudrun Weinfurtner, Sales Executive (DACH), Germany
Our Sales Executive, Gudrun Weinfurtner, joined Tosi in March 2026 and works with organizations across the DACH countries to help them enhance security, connectivity, and operational resilience with Tosi's platform.
How would you describe your job to a 7-year-old?
I talk to people who have a technical problem or need. I listen to them, try to understand what they need, and then work with my colleagues to find the right solution using Tosi products. And, of course, I also sell it. So basically: listen, understand, solve problems, and talk to a lot of people.
How did you end up in your current role?
I’ve spent most of my career in IT sales, working across networking, wireless, and security, in both direct and channel roles. I like sales because I get to talk to a lot of different people. It gets really interesting for me when I can learn something new and bring my experience into the conversation.
I’ve only been at Tosi for about six months, so the OT world is still new to me, and I’m learning a lot. I’ve also worked mostly for US companies in the past, so I liked the idea of joining a European company - especially one that is successful in the US.
What is the best part about your job/working at Tosi?
The people. No matter who I ask or how often I ask, I always get a professional and friendly answer. People are willing to help, share what they know, and take the time to explain things. That makes learning something new a lot easier and makes working here a lot more enjoyable.
If you had to swap places with a colleague for one day, who would it be and why?
Our CEO. I’m aiming high. I’d love to see Tosi from his perspective and understand how he looks at the business and makes decisions. Alternatively, someone in product development, because I know very little about what happens there. Either way, I’m sure I will be happy to get back to my own job the next day.
