A little glimpse of what you'll do
As a Sales Engineer, you'll play a critical role in driving revenue by serving as the technical expert during the sales process. This position involves working closely with the sales team, prospects, and customers to understand their challenges and present tailored technical solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Be the go-to technical expert for the sales team, helping out during pre-sales engagements and delivering tailored technical presentations.
- Collaborate with customers to identify challenges and propose customized technical solutions aligned with our offerings.
- Provide technical recommendations on how to set up, test, and optimize solutions while getting to know what customers really want.
- Partner with internal teams to share customer feedback and influence product improvements.
- Support project implementations when required, ensuring smooth transitions from pre-sales to delivery.
- Keep up with industry trends and new tech, sharing your knowledge through training and teamwork.
You will be an important part of Tosi's success, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer Johannes Niemi. You will work with modern development tools and methods, and in addition to your own team, you will be supported by 80+ Tosi Team Members across the globe.
We would love to hear about you if you have the following experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years in a Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar technical role.
- A good grasp of IT/ICT/IOT, computing in general, and networking and cloud technology will be a strong advantage (special bonus points for experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or Linux basics)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (native level).
